你好呀，我是来自加拿大的雅思外教Mac。今天我想分享怎样快速写出雅思大作文高分introduction。

我们以这个题目为例：

Some people think cultural traditions are destroyed when they are used as money-making attractions aimed at tourists. Others think this is the only way to save traditions. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

- Step 1：理解题目 -

We need to understand thatthis essay is NOT aboutwhether it is right or wrong to make money from a countrys heritage and traditions,but rather it is thatwhen they are used to make money, they become destroyed. The other side says that when traditions are used to make money, it helps to protect the heritage.

- Step 2 -

题目第1句话同义词替换 + Paraphrase

some people = not all people =

需要注意的是，使用There is an argument时，argument后接具体的内容，比如：

There is an argument about whether traditions that are used for profit destroy cultural heritage, or rather that they help preserve the customs of a culture.

think =

feel/believefelt by / believed by

cultural =

nationalethnicnational and ethnic

traditions =

heritage (tradition + culture = heritage)

cultural traditions =national and ethnic heritage（因为heritage是一个名词，这里我们需要给它加上冠词，补全就是The national and ethnic heritage of a country, 为什么这句话里有of a country? 因为不加的话，读者不知道你指的是什么heritage。）

destroyed =ruined

ruined 跟destroyed最为接近，demolished 和 smashed 倾向于对物体本身进行彻底破坏。

they =

在这篇文章里，they指heritage，可以用it代替

used as =

used for（as有对比的意味, for则没有）utilized asexploited as

money-making =

economiccommercial

attractions =

tourist sitesplaces of interest

经过这轮同义词替换后，我们现在来paraphrase题目的第一句话：

It is believed by some that the national and ethnic heritage of a country is ruined when it is utilized as a commercial tourist attraction.

- Step 3 -

题目第2句话同义词替换 + Paraphrase -

现在我们来看题目的第二句话：

Others think this is the only way to save traditions.

这一句的观点跟第一句的截然相反。This is a clear dichotomy. We have two polar opposite opinions. One side thinks it destroys whereas the other side thinks it saves.

可以用一个词来接两种不同的观点：whereas

这句话的同义词替换：

others =there are those who

the only way=

only = soleway = method

to save =

to protectto preserveto safeguard

traditions =可以用traditional culture代替（展示了你的lexical resource）

经过这轮同义词替换后，现在我们来paraphrase题目的第2句话：

whereas there are those that feel this method is the only way to protect traditional culture.

把第一句和第二句组合起来，就是：

It is believed by some that the national and ethnic heritage of a country is ruined when it is utilized as a commercial tourist attraction, whereas there are those who feel this method is the only way to protect traditional culture.

- Step 4 -

解析题目的第3句话

题目的第3句话为：

Discuss both views and give your opinion.

这句话可以这样改：

现在把我们已经写好的introduction连成一段话：

It is believed by some that the national and ethnic heritage of a country is ruined when it is utilized as a commercial tourist attraction, whereas there are those who feel this method is the only way to protect traditional culture. This essay shall explore both viewpoints, however(from my perspective), it seems clear that both sides have valid points.

(这是题目) Some people think cultural traditions are destroyed when they are used as money-making attractions aimed at tourists. Others think this is the only way to save traditions. Discuss both views and give your opinion.
